I was parking ,my foot was on brake but my 2003 Toyota Camry accelarate very quicly and jump forward uncontrollably. Only luck prevented any deaths because nobody was on parking lot. It happened at west palm beach. I took my car to stewart Toyota. I told them I read about this problem month ago which was on first USA paper (business section) they told me they have never heard of any complain before,kept my car for a day . Next day,they told me they could not find any problem. I have to leave with it. It was very scary experience, I do not know what to do with my car.
I had backed out of parking space. When I put 2003 Toyota Camry in drive, it surged forward. I braked but the vehicle accelerated. I depressed brake fully, nonetheless the car accelerated uncontrollably and very quickly. Vehicle only stopped by violent collision with two parked vehicles and cement blocks. Only good fortune prevented deaths of any passers by. Witnesses observed my foot fully on the depressed brake pedal as the car was at rest after the accident.
