The contact owns a 2006 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that the vehicle exhibited a two-minute delay while attempting to accelerate from a stop. There was no warning prior to the failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where a diagnostic was performed. The contact was advised that the throttle body assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. In addition, he noticed fluid leaking from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where they advised him that the boot was leaking and the rack and pinion assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired for the rack and pinion assembly. The manufacturer was contacted and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 117,794. The current mileage was approximately 119,276.

2 Power Steering Fluid problem

Failure Date: 11/13/2009

I noticed my steering wheel was not responding as normal and was making noises. Power steering pump for my 2006 Toyota solara was leaking fluid and needed to be replaced between 58 - 59 k miles. I strictly follow the maintenance schedule for the car and my car is always serviced by the dealership that I purchased the vehicle from.
