While traveling down a city street, my driver side airbag deployed without impact. My vision was impaired by the airbag deployment causing me to lose control of my car and hit a curb to the right side of my vehicle. The impact did not deploy the right passenger side airbag.
Overturned vehicle.
The contact owns a 2008 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that the front passenger side air bag sensor does not work. His wife weighs 100 pounds, but the sensor does not always activate when she is seated in the passenger seat. The dealer stated that the vehicle was designed to sense a greater weight size and nothing could be done to correct the design. The manufacturer agreed with the dealer.
