My car has very little power. I am afraid to make left hand turns in traffic because I never know if the car will move with proper and accurate speed. The vehicle has had a recall of the fuel system for which the manufacturer does not have a fix for. My tires constantly lose air since the day I bought the car. My gas tank access door doesn't open properly, also since I bought the car. The dash screen goes off spontaneously.
The fuel gauge incorrectly displays the fuel in the tank. For example I can drive 160 miles and the gauge has not moved since it was filled up. Further I drove over 600 miles and the fuel gauge indicated 1/4 but when I filled up the car it took 13. 6 gallons of gas. The tank capacity is 14. 5 gallons so that meant I only had 0. 9 gallons of gas yet the car showed 1/4 of the tank of fuel. This could lead to the car running out of gas before the car's fuel gauge indicated. This is a clear safety issue. I have had the car in for repair 4 times at the dealer but Toyota refuses to correct the issue.
