The contact owns a 2022 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that both the driver's side and the passenger's side mirror housing covers were melting. The vehicle was taken to an unknown collision center who took pictures of the vehicle and provided an estimate of repair to the contact. Then the vehicle was taken to the dealer where the vehicle was purchased. The dealer advised the contact that the mirror housing covers were not covered under the manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and advised the contact that they could not assist as the failure was due to climate. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 300.
