The contact owns a 2009 Toyota Camry. While approaching a stop sign and depressing the brake pedal, the brakes would not engage. The vehicle continued to accelerate momentarily before decreasing speed. She has not taken the vehicle into the dealer for inspection nor had the manufacturer been contacted. She did receive an interim letter from the manufacturer advising her to remove the floor mats, stating that they could cause unintended acceleration in the vehicle. The vehicle was also hesitated when it was started on occasion and the interior lights flashed on intermittently. The failure and current mileages were approximately 19,926.
My Toyota solara lse, 2003, with 125,000 miles has electrical problems and broken mount and struts problems. 1. My rear mount and struts broke and I was told by an auto mechanic it may cause a seriouse accident if not repaired. As soon as I repaired the problem in the rear, immediatly the following day front mount and struts broke. It is very expensive to fix. 2. My headlights keep going out monthly and I cannot tell my lights are not on because lights on the dashboard are out and some warning lights are on and automechanics can't get them off (although the warning lights are not linked to any actual problems); 3. My defroster is not working due to an electrical malfunction as well. I live in chicago and cannot see out of the rear windown in the winter months.

I purchased a 2001 Camry le (new) and the dome light does not work the way the manual says it should. I have power door locks and keyless entry- when I use my keyless entry my dome light does not come on the way my manual states it should. And when I first close my door the dome light does not stay on for the 15 seconds like the manual says it should. This is very very unsafe for a person to get into this car after dark!!!! if someone was hiding in the car they would have all the advantages - if I use my keyless entry from 10 feet away and my light doesn't come I can't tell someone would be in the car but, in reality I have just signaled to that person that I'm on my way to the car, so get ready to jump out at me. They're ready and I wouldn't be!!!!!!!! sounds extremely unsafe to me. How does Toyota justify taking "away" safety features. Is that what happenes when we give them a chance to do business in America?.
I am a little displeased with my 1999 Toyota Camry. I bought it as a certified used car with 19,300 miles. Already, I have shelled out 450. 00 for the replacement of the rotors, disc pads, and assembly. The drivers side window had failed before, and I had them replace the whole assembly. The dash lights just failed recently, as well as one of the rear lights burned out in Nov. I logged a complaint with Toyota cust. Service center, but I still feel that this car is a lemon. What new 1999 car with 30,000 miles has had this many failures? please send me any other info that might pertain to this, or any info you hear back. Itr would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to be taking my car in for major service every year!!!.
Main steering column light switch fails, causing headlights and all dashlights to go off.
Light on panel stayed on. Yh.
