The dealer stated that they had to replace the inverter. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was contacted. The failure and current mileages were 45,000.

2 Hybrid Propulsion System Inverter problem

Failure Date: 01/25/2011

Hybrid battery doesn't turn on if vehicle is not turned on within a week. When I turn the heater on, inside the car smells like rotten. In addition, the accelerator pedal needs to be replaced, received letter from Toyota company to make an appointment to have it replaced.
