Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid

The contact owns a 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid. The contact was driving approximately 35 mph when another vehicle crashed into the front passenger side of her vehicle. Upon impact, the air bags did not deploy. The contact sustained neck, back, breast, right shoulder and arm injuries. The police were contacted and a report was filed. The contact was transported to the hospital via ambulance. The vehicle was towed and deemed as destroyed. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 75,000. Air bags failed to deploy. The vehicle (2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid), was involved in a front end collision which resulted in severe front end damage to the point that doors could not be opened. None of the air bags deployed, including by the knees, even though collision was hard enough to result in the driver hitting the dash with knees. All the officers taking reports along with the various tow truck drivers were shocked to see no air bag deployment due to the force of the collision and severe damage to front of vehicle, engine compartment, and frame.
