Vehicle is available for inspection upon request. This has been an ongoing issue that I have not been able to resolve since buying the vehicle new from the dealership. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? -the fcta system is highly distracting visual and audio alert to driving due to constant false alerts when turning onto traffic right after a car passes in front of the vehicle. The fcta system can only temporarily be disabled as every time the car is turned on this system is re-enables thus not respecting driver decision to turn of the fcta system. Even at the lowest sensitivity setting of (later) the system will still give false alerts. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? -I have talked with the Toyota dealership, and I have been informed there is no way to permanently turn off the fcta system has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? -no, this vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others.
