Other Fuel System problem #1

I had just bought the car from the dealer and was to drive it back home. I got about 30 miles from the dealership and the check engine light came on. It stated malfunction in the awd system so now on two wheel drive then it stated start control malfunction and finally hybrid system malfunction. I returned it to the dealership and they said that the first diagnostic stated it was throwing high voltage. Looking on line when I got home I noticed the recall of many Toyota camrys for the loose bolt causing this issue and there is yet to be a fix for it. The manufacturer should take all those cars back so they cannot be sold and cause a risk till they can fix it. It makes a dealership look bad and puts innocent people at risk if they are not aware of the issue.

Other Fuel System problem #2

This is a manufacturer safety recall (NHTSA #25v869) for a loose bolt inside the hybrid inverter that could cause loss of motive power or a vehicle fire. The vehicle was sold to me as new with the recall already open and unrepaired. As of this date, Toyota has not made the remedy available, more than 6 months after the recall was announced. I am concerned about driving the vehicle given the fire/power-loss risk described in the official recall notice.

Other Fuel System problem #3

The vehicle experienced a safety-related issue involving the hybrid system, which may cause sudden loss of power while driving. This issue is associated with a manufacturer recall (Toyota campaign 25tb15). Due to the risk of power loss, the vehicle was deemed unsafe to drive. The vehicle was taken to a dealership for repair, where the issue was confirmed. However, no repair has been completed. The vehicle has remained at the dealership for over 3 months without a confirmed repair timeline. This creates a significant safety concern, as loss of power while driving could increase the risk of a crash, especially at highway speeds. No accident, fire, or injury has occurred, as the vehicle has not been driven due to the safety risk.

Other Fuel System problem #4

Fuel / propulsion system. . Hybrid inverter assembly defective component: hybrid inverter assembly cause: improperly torqued bolt inside the inverter result: open circuit possible loss of motive power while driving possible short circuit and fire risk component is available for inspection and is currently at the Toyota dealer. From Toyota’s own recall filing: loss of motive power while driving at higher speeds increased risk of a crash risk of thermal damage and fire if short circuit occurs. Toyota documented: dealer inspections field reports warranty claims Toyota confirmed bolts were found loose inside inverter assemblies this directly triggered the recallinspected by authorized Toyota dealers investigated by Toyota and the inverter supplier (denso) vehicle is currently held for recall-related service. Improperly torqued inverter bolt may activate a warning lamp; however, no warning lamps or messages were displayed prior to the defect occurring on my vehicle.

Other Fuel System problem #5

The contact stated that the manufactured had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that  the manufacture and the dealer was contacted. The contact stated that dealer provided a loaner vehicle until the remedy becomes available.  the contact has not experience a failure.

Other Fuel System problem #6
