The ip displays a the blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, traffic alert system malfunctioned alert, see dealer. Driver is not alerted to vehicles in the blind spot, vehicles traveling behind vehicle or door opening warning of passing vehicles. Vehicle scheduled to be inspected next week by Toyota dealer. This is the only way I can get my message to you that I know of. It is very distracting having to deal with all the adas systems. They are actually a distraction for me, taking my eyes off the road when I most need them on the road to figure out why the "nanny" alarms are going off. I don't know why these things are being added to vehicles, but we have to turn them off as much as we can. If I get in an accident, it will be because of these features not because I am not paying attention to the road. Thank you for letting me share my perspective.
