Body problems of the 2026 Toyota Camry Hybrid

While washing my car, I noticed that the clips securing the front bumper—specifically on the right side, beneath the headlight—had come loose. I took the car to the Toyota service center on Monday, June 22nd. They inspected the bumper and found no signs of scraping or impact, so they agreed to repair it under warranty. I picked up the car that evening, and the bumper appeared to be fixed; however, when I got home and checked again, the clips had popped out once more. I returned to the service center and pointed out that the repair hadn't held. They took photos and said they would report the issue to Toyota. They got back to me during the week and scheduled an appointment for Monday, July 6th. I dropped the car off on that Monday, and on Thursday, I received a message stating the repairs were complete. I picked up the car Thursday evening, and the bumper looked fine. On Saturday, I inspected the bumper again; this time, the clips on the left side—under the headlight—had come loose. I reported the issue to the Toyota service center on Monday, and they promised to fix it as soon as possible. I am still waiting; it has been five weeks. I am completely dissatisfied with this car. I am lodging this complaint because, after researching online, I discovered that such problems are very common with the front bumpers of the 2026 Toyota camry. Thank you.

The vehicle’s front bumper under the passenger side keeps becoming loose with a large noticeable gap even after fixed by the dealership. Appears to be weak clips used by Toyota during the manufacturing process. Vehicle is new, purchased 1/2026 and this recurrent issue showed up at 1567 miles, vehicle has never been in an accident. Safety is at risk as in a matter of time I believe the bumper will fall off while the vehicle is in motion, presenting a danger to driver and other occupants, and a danger to other motorists. This issue seems to exist since previous 2025 models, Toyota appears not to care enough to provide a permanent fix.

Car makes a heavy humming noise when driving 30mph or more very loud dealer couldn’t fix this issue please help I don’t feel safe when driving on higher speeds.

The 2026 Toyota suddenly accelerated when pulling into a handicap space. Suddenly the vehicle jumped the concrete barrier and sidewalk and hit a building. The airbags did not deploy and the seat belts came off as normal. The building was not damaged but my wife sustained a shoulder injury and whiplash. The vechicle was towed from the scene and is at collison center where the collison occurred. Note: 2026 is when all electronic components were engineered into the vehicle. The vehicle has not been started since the accident. The outcome could have resulted in a life altering injury or death. The problem has not been reproduced as the vehicle is not driveable. The vehicle was purchased the 14 miles on it. As of today 1/16/2026, we are not aware of any vehicle inspection. Our insurance company told us they would not pay for the download of the black box but we could if we would like. We decided to hire a person to download the black box and give us the results of the download. This is to occur on January 20, 2026. There were no warning indicators prior to the sudden acceleration. No cautionary lights came on and continued application of the brakes did not slow the vehicle. No dash lights were on after the sudden acceleration.
