Seat Belt Problems of Toyota Camry Hybrid

The contact owns a 2020 Toyota Camry Hybrid. The contact stated that the driver’s side front seat belt failed to latch and lock into the belt buckle. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer who stated that the seat belt buckle assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The passenger’s side seat buckle also started to fail to latch and lock into the buckle as needed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 115,000.

The window stays distorted and hard to see out of especially at night or if its raining also the back seat airbag light and noise will randomly come on when driving and I will have to pull over and turn the car off and back on to get it to stop this has happened multiple times and its annoying bc I know my kids are properly in there carseats.

I was in an accident yesterday morning. I was traveling about 20-25 mph and hit a parked car on the passenger front. The front bumper and fender on passenger side were severely damaged and the car was undriveable. What is concerning is that the airbags did not deploy nor did the setbelt lock. I sustained injuries to my left knee hitting the console, my left side of face including jaw hit the top of steering wheel and my forehead hit the windshield and broke it. I am concerned that the car has a safety issues.

Driver side backseat passenger window seat the seatbelt is loose and doesn't retract back into place. Hybrid battery and transmission system stutters after system flush at dealer causing the hybrid synergy system check, check engine light and eslamation light in orange to stay on dash. Error stating that battery needs replacement for hybrid battery.

My 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid's driver seat belt latch malfunctioned. It buckled normally, however, when I went to unbuckle the seat belt, the spring inside the mechanism wrapped around the notch in the metal seat belt latch. The spring was completely removed with the seat belt. The seat belt no longer functions properly and will only latch if the seat belt fastener button is depressed and then released while the seat belt is inserted.

Plastic part of the release button broke either after release or when trying to buckle up. It would no longer latch. Under 75k miles on the car and I am only driver.

When driving between 40-45 mph, a vehicle ran the stop sign on a side street on to the street my wife was driving on, and she hit the vehicle broadside. Her safety belt was securely fastened, however the shoulder portion of the belt gave way, and my wife struck the steering wheel with her chest, pinning her wrist in between herself and the steering wheel. The airbags also did not deploy.
