Tl-the contact owns a 1997 Toyota Corolla equipped with cooper, tire line: response touring and tire size: 175/65/r14 (na) tires. The dot number was u9ex lrc0912. The contact stated that while driving at 65 mph, the contact felt a vibration coming from the steering wheel as the front passenger's side tire blew out. In addition, the contact stated that the steering wheel became difficult to turn. The contact had to apply force to the steering wheel in order to steer the vehicle. The contact had previously noticed bubbles on the side walls of both front and rear passenger tires. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The tire manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle failure mileage was 93,000 and the tire failure mileage was 6,000. Oo.
