Seat Broken problems of the 2001 Toyota Corolla

Tl- the contact owned a 2001 Toyota Corolla. The contact stated that while driving at 60 mph, another vehicle rear ended the contact's vehicle. The driver's seat broke, fell off backward and the seat moved backward. The contact could not reach the pedal. All the air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. The contact sustained a neck injury, head injury and a mid back injury that required medical attention. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was contacted at 800-331-4331 and was made aware of the failure. The manufacturer stated that they would go and inspect the vehicle within 5 days and the contact had to keep the vehicle for 30 days and the manufacturer would contact their legal department.
