Unknown Or Other problem #1

I drive a 2007 Toyota Corolla s automatic. I bought it brand new & had about 72,000 miles on it at the time of the incident. I had noticed for a few weeks that my car was shifting into reverse quite roughly, delayed & jerking. I figured I would get it checked at my next oil change. While I was stopped at an intersection waiting to turn left, my car stalled. I stepped on the pedal to accelerate but it just revved my car & wouldn't go. I tried switching into reverse with the same result. Then I restarted my car a couple times until it finally started moving again. I thought it was a fluke so I kept driving. Unfortunately, as I drove on, the car just decelerated and stalled again. At that point, I called a tow truck. My car was taken to repair shop where the diagnostic was ecm issues & transmission failure. My mechanic called toyta to get the ecm replaced & my transmission had to be rebuilt.

Unknown Or Other problem #2

2007 Toyota Corolla steel rim issues. I have had problems twice with the steel rims on my car and am afraid there will be more as my car ages. The rims rust. I turned a corner too sharp and barely grazed the concrete, which bent the wheel rim and caused my tire to blow out, and I had to replace that tire. Now, I hit a pothole, and entire wheel rim buckled, tore my tire to bits, and it was almost impossible to find a replacement rim for my car. I could not locate one online, could not get a return phone call from sam swope's Toyota dealership to try to see if the part could be ordered, but I was able to get another dealer to sell me one at a whopping $141 including tax. I was driving on city streets when I hit that pothole and was going at a slow speed. Had this happened on the expressway, I'd be dead. Now that I look at all of the rims on my car, every rim is bent somewhere along the edges. The metal on these rims is of the poorest quality I have ever seen. I'd expect steel to hold up better than this, and this is a potentially dangerous problem when steel rims buckle, destroy your tire and you can loose control of your car. I am also afraid that this isnt' the last of my problems with these rims. I believe this is going to happen again, and it is almost impossible to find another rim for my particular car. I am being told by every junkyard that my car is too new for them to have parts for it. The rims are also unaffordable if you can find them. Not only did I have to buy the rim at a cost of $141, but I had to purchase another tire and pay for mounting and balancing. So, the cost is now over $200 to fix my just hitting a small pothole, and louisville, ky, is loaded with potholes everywhere. If these rims continue rusting, is that going to affect my braking ability too?.

Unknown Or Other problem #4

Car : 2007 Corolla ce first incident : accelorator would get stuck and it wouldn't go down until I press the breaks really hard. It kept shaking the steering wheel. After incident I took to cabe Toyota of long beach (562) 595-7411 . And cabe Toyota wasted my time and kept the car for two days and said no work was done because nothing was wrong but it seemed like they did some adjustments to the car because weird noises started happening. Second incident: 03/24/2010 break failure on wardlow blvd towards atlantic avenue. Breaks did not want to go down. Car kept going after trying to press breaks! had to shut down car by taking key out of ignition and pull emergency break. Luckily no car was in front and back. Sterring wheel locked. As soon as it happened I called cabe Toyota and filed a complaint about it. They took the car for less then a day and told me to pick up my car. The mechanic said "we had it for two days and found nothing wrong with it. " and they had a meeting with the Toyota and said give the car back. Time of submitting car 2 pm on 03/24/2010 . Time I called to ask about car around 1:30ish 03/25/2010. They only had the car for one day. And issued the car back to me. I do not know what to do. I was shaking drastically after it happened. Luckily my daughter wasn't in the car. Or I was not on the freeway.

Driving on 2 lane blacktop road, dog in my path of travel, firmly applied the brakes, car was pulled to the right, went off the road and continued to travel parallel until I struck a gravel entry driveway to a field with the front of my vehicle and then flipped end over end 3 times according to witness finally resting on its top. Upon looking at the scene, there was one (1)black skid mark. The highway was dry, there was a very slight incline in the road and it was a straight stretch. The weather was overcast. The insurance company would not investigate my complaint and insisted that I swerved. I called Toyota and they "checked the brakes" on the totalled car and the headlight operation. I had called them to figure out what had gone wrong. In their report they said there was nothing wrong with the brakes or headlights. I had reported that prior to this incident that the headlights would go on for no apparent reason at the same location (an area where my cell phone coverage would go out). The accident occurred near an airport which was another area where my cell phone coverage would go out. Since I had fractured my sternum and had the discolored imprint of the turn signal on my chest, I thought that the air bag should have deployed on first impact. I questioned the brakes and electronic/electrical system. Their report is dated 11/11/2008 and does not indicate a file or complaint number.

2007 Toyota Corolla customer states that the dealership lied to her about the car * the consumer stated when purchasing the vehicle that his granddaughter did not know too much about cars and purchased a new vehicle with power locks and windows. The consumer noticed that the granddaughter was opening the car with a key and not with a remote control opener. Immediately, the consumer went to the dealer and informed them of the problem. A different salesperson informed them that original sales rep was not in that day and what the granddaughter received was power lock but that it only automatically locks and unlocks on the inside not outside of the car. The remote control was an additional charge. The consumer is requesting the remote control at no additional cost and also wishes to receive the $4,000 deductible that was stated on the mailing flyer, however the dealer states the deductible was only for used cars not the new vehicles.
