general problems of the 2007 Toyota Corolla

I was driving down the street and all of a sudden I couldn't accelerate. I pulled over and I turned off the car and then tried restarting it but it wouldn't. It said on the gear shift it was in park, but come to find out, my gear shift bushing broke while I was driving. I know I'm not the only driver this has happened to either in the year, make and model.

I received a notification that our car had been recalled, so I made an appointment with deluca Toyota in ocala to have the recalled items only fixed. After they had the call for an hour and a half they tried to force me to have the serpentine belt replaced. We just had the serpentine belt replaced a few thousand miles ago and it was fine when we brought our car in for an airbag recall. They didn't fix the airbag, because we wouldn't pay for them to replace our serpentine belt. . . . That does not need to be replaced again this soon. Serpentine belts last about 100,000 miles so at 2-3 thousand miles it is fine. Toyota is a bunch of lying thieves.

A/c blows hot on driver side and cold on passenger side until it cuts of and blows only hot air. Also front end suspension problems repeatedly. Finally its under recall for takata airbags.

Takata recall the problem on this car is the transmission is not working I want to resolve this problem as soon as possible. The car is running but the engine light is on we took it to the mechanic shop and they told us, it was the transmission.

While at an idle (stationary) the car suddenly lunged forward and I almost rear ended the car in front of me. I was on a slight incline with wheels turned to the right. It was not the fast idle for the air compressor, it was a must heavier throttle thrust. It felt much like I just punched the accelerator and let off (which, of course, I did not). Fluid leaking from passenger side air bag and sometimes can hear a fluid running sound near passenger side air area.

Looked up a recall on the emc of 2007 Toyota Corollas. My car was rear ended on 12/31/2014. Ever since, my car has been having electrical problems. My radiator fan is not working and had to be hot wired by a mechanic for it to stay on while running. My ac is not working, my shifter is stuck in park which is caused by a bad solenoid. I have had it inspected for over 8 hours by certified mechanics at midas, and they couldn't fix it. They said that every test they did was reading that nothing was wrong but my ac and radiator fan and solenoid are not working. My car stalls out occasionally, it wont start sometimes, and it is idling louder than before.

Toyota 2007 Corolla: when driving (in reverse) out of our driveway, on several occasions the car would suddenly jerk, emit a lot of fumes, and it would take off on its own. Putting pressure on the brakes would not stop the car- only turning off the ignition key stops the car. Last time this occurred was on November 4, 2014. After driving out of the driveway and changing gears from reverse to drive, the car again jerked, made a left turn, drove across our lawn, through the bushes and to our next door neighbor’s lawn. We are lucky that it did not slam into our house or the electric pole close to our driveway- either one would probably have killed us. The car has its own mind and does not respond to anything that the driver tries to do to stop the car from moving other than turning off the ignition key. The Toyota dealer, of course, asserts that there is nothing wrong with the car.
