2 Front Driver Side Air Bag Inflator problem

Failure Date: 09/12/2016

We received a recall regarding the airbag inflator module on March 2, 2016. As of today, Toyota still does not have the parts ready for me. Two months ago, they said the parts would be ready by now, and just today when I called them, they said that the parts will not be ready until another two months. Having a malfunction airbag is a really serious safety issue, and it causes me to be anxious everyday while driving. Toyota has been irresponsible on their end and this issue needs to resolved as soon as possible. I look forward to hearing from you regarding the resolution.

4 Front Driver Side Air Bag Inflator problem

Failure Date: 05/10/2016

Inflator recall. I took my car into a Toyota dealership in early may and was told the part would be in by the end of may. On July 2nd they have yet to get the part or contact me about any information. The recall info I received in the mail said if they have not done it in a reasonable amount of time to file a complaint. I believe that almost 2 months is plenty of time.

5 Front Driver Side Air Bag Inflator problem

Failure Date: 05/06/2016

Takata recall- I contacted my local dealer -arlington Toyota- and they told me that they do not have the part to replace my front passenger inflator assembly, so I will have to drive my car until the part comes in. I was under the impression that the car was unsafe to drive. Other dealers have taken the affected car and provided a rental car while waiting for the new parts.

6 Front Driver Side Air Bag Inflator problem

Failure Date: 04/15/2016

Front passenger airbag inflator module. Possibly "takata recall", the letter I received didn't mention that. Today (4/15/2016) I received a letter from Toyota. The letter isn't dated. It mentions that the airbag inflator module needs to be replaced and that passengers in my car have been, potentially, at serious risk. This is the first and, so far, only correspondence that I have received on this. The letter says that "they are currently preparing parts for my location" -- but when I called the dealer they already had the parts in, and have been working on these repairs for some time. But then why the hell am I just hearing about it now??? I feel like Toyota and the dealer (frontier Toyota in santa clarita, California) hasn't remedied this defect within a reasonable period of time.

7 Front Driver Side Air Bag Inflator problem

Failure Date: 03/06/2016

Takata recall. I received a notice in March 2016 about the recall. The notice described the issue with the inflator. I was asked to immediately take my car to the dealer to bave it fixed. The notice said it was urgent . It specified that I should stop using the passenger seat. It even said that if I felt un omfortable driving the car, they would pick up the car for me. I sent to the Toyota dealer the very next day. They checked and verified my car is subject to the recall, but they told me it would be a few weeks before the part would arrive. It has been almost 11 months since the notice was sent. The people at the dealer dont even know when the part will arrive. It is unrealistic that owners sre expected to not be able to fullty use their vehicles without receiving some sort of compensation. I am not even sure if it would be ethical for me to sell the car under this conditions.
