Since purchasing this vehicle in July 2009, when braking and coming to a stop, the 2010 Toyota Corolla frequently shudders as if it is going to stall, although it has not yet stalled. This was reported to the dealer (ira Toyota manchester) during 5k mile routine maintenance on 1-30-10 and they responded that they have had about a dozen complaints about this from different owners and they don't know what the problem is. Nothing was done.
Bought new Dec 18, 2009. Toyota Corolla le 14 miles. When you go to stop at a red light or stop sign. The engine some times acts like it is going to stall. You touch the brakes just as you come to a dead stop. The engine rpms will drop to about 300 rpms the engine will shutter all most die and then go back to normal rpms about 500 to 600 hundred. This is an intermittent problem. You can not make the car do this. You may drive it 5 times and it will not do anything like that. You drive it the next time and it will do it three times in a roll when you stop. It has done this from the time it was new.
