1 Brake Master Cylinder problem

Failure Date: 09/22/2018

Tl the contact owns a 2013 Toyota Corolla. The contact depressed the brake pedal and the braking distance increased. The failure occurred without warning. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that there was a brake leak behind the master cylinder. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was notified and did not assist. The failure mileage was 34,000.

2 Brake Master Cylinder problem

Failure Date: 04/04/2017

Purchased vehicle September 2015 with 59,000 miles. 8 months later the master cylinder malfunctions. Brake pedal has to be pushed all the way to the floor and makes a weird noise, like a creaking noise. I take it to be repaired. They bleed the brakes. Temporary fix. November 2016, same problem and I take it to be repaired and master cylinder is replaced. 5 months later, same problem and the master cylinder is being replaced again for the 2nd time.
