Tl the contact owns a 2018 Toyota Corolla. The contact stated while driving 50 mph, the air bags and rear seat belts warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer Toyota of downtown la. (1901 s figueroa st, los angeles, CA 90007, (213) 986-2011) however, the mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure. The failure recurred. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of failure. The failure mileage was approximately 19,391.

2 Warning Light On problem

Failure Date: 04/16/2020

Tl the contact owns a 2018 Toyota Corolla. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 20v024000 (air bags) and NHTSA campaign number: 20v012000(fuel system, gasoline) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated an unknown dealer was contacted however, no assistance was provided. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that while driving at 55 mph, the rpm fluctuated and the vehicle stalled. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. 3 Warning Light On problem

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2018 Toyota Corolla. The contact stated that the fuel warning light displayed on three different occasions. The contact reset the fuel cap and the fuel warning light re-illuminates after 40 � 50 miles of being driven. In addition, there was a fuel odor inside the vehicle. The contact later received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 20v120000 (fuel system,gasoline) and 20v024000 (air bags) however, the parts to do the repairs were unavailable. The contact was also concerned that the air bags might deploy without impact or not deploy during an impact due to a recall associated with the vehicle. Westbury Toyota (1121 old country rd, westbury, NY 11590) was contacted and confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedies due to covid-19. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for both recall remedies to be available. The manufacturer had been notified of the failure and was recommended to wait for another recall notice in the mail. The failure mileage was 8,000. VIN tool confirms that parts not available.
