general problems of the 2021 Toyota Corolla

The contact owns a 2021 Toyota Corolla equipped with yokohama tires, tire line: blue earth, tire size: 205/55/r16, dot number: fd8k-ll012. The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 mph, the vehicle started to shake and vibrate abnormally. The contact stated that after stopping to inspect the vehicle, the contact discovered that the rear passenger’s side tire had experienced a sidewall blowout and tread separation. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local Toyota dealer was notified of the failure. The tire manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 53,253.

Primewell ps830 205/55/r16 - these tires were discontinued by the manufacturer one or two years ago and replaced with an upgraded tire because of tread skid and wear issues. The dealer continued to tell me the brakes were fine and the tires were fine because they would never sell at car with unsafe tires. I also found a slit in the rear passenger sidewall. Took car to a reputable dealer. They found the tires with uneven wear and choppy condition. They also discovered rusted rotors. They repaired the brakes and replaced the unsafe, discontinued tires with new tires.
