This is my fourth service visit for the same unresolved safety issue on my 2024 Toyota Corolla hybrid. The problem involves a cracked fuel line and fuel vapor leak in the same area as recall 24tc08 (fuel tank filler clamp and vapor leak detection). The dealership initially failed to detect this during recall work and later claimed “rodent damage” after two prior visits. I have since used a professional-grade multirae lite gas detector and documented voc (volatile organic compounds) levels up to 123 ppm inside the vehicle cabin with the windows up. These readings indicate hazardous fuel vapor and exhaust gas intrusion, which pose serious health and fire risks. I have driven over 200 miles in these conditions), exposing myself to harmful fumes.
