Severe rust on critical suspension components despite frequen undercarriage washing and care. Control arms and tank straps will need to be replaced and mounts welded.
Excessive rust on lower control arm mount.
Chassis has excessive rust. Upper rear control arm mount on chassis rusted off. Causing loss of control when braking. Rear bumper support has hole in frame from rust. Body mounts are rusting off frame. Brake lines have rusted and leaked fluid. Gas tank strap mount is very compromised by rust. Front radiator support excessive rusting numerous soft spots and holes. Major flaking , and delamination of frame all over. Truck has 98,000 mile on it it is a manual 4wd. Located in michigan.
Frame has completely disintegrated where the rear upper control arm links meet the crossmember, making the vehicle unsafe and fail the nh state inspection. The links broke free while driving on a rural road. Upon further inspection we found rust perforation on frame rails with thin and fatigued metal in the same general area.
2007 Toyota Fj Cruiser frame rotting from inside and out. Rear upper control arm mounts rusting looking like its about to break off. Unsafe to drive. 13 year old frame should not be anywhere near this condition.
