Failure Date: 08/18/2014

The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Fj Cruiser. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 60 mph, there was an abnormal grinding noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. The failure recurred multiple times. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the rear differential and both rear bearings needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 125,000.
