Buying new car, potential buyer of this car had a mechanic check it out. Found extensive rust involving frame and suspension. Not safe to drive. I live in nc mountains with extensive snow and ice and salted roads. Toyota has had previous rust issues and mechanic said he's seeing this more with local Highlanders.
Water pump broke, suspension leaking, bearings broken, engine head bolts are stripped.
