The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Highlander hybrid. The contact stated that when the vehicle turned on, multiple unknown warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a dead battery and it was replaced. The failure recurred where multiple unknown warning lights illuminated when the vehicle was turned on. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed with an abs actuator malfunction and it was replaced. The failure recurred with the same abs malfunction and it was replaced again. The contact stated that the brake pedal has to be depressed multiple times for the brakes to respond(pump the brake pedal?). The failure recurred where multiple warning lights illuminated when the vehicle was turned on and the vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with abs actuator malfunction again. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 96,153.
