I purchased a 2006 Toyota Land Cruiser in August of 06 new from the dealer. From the first day it has had a very unpleasant driveline/tire shake at highway speeds. The dealer has re-balance the tires several times with no improvement. The shaking has broken some trim loose that has been replaced and caused damage to the navigation screen also now replaced. It pulls strongly to the right and they say to live with it and the shaking. I have been to arbitration the hearing judge said if several of the cars have the defect to live with it. I drove a new 07 this week and it was so bad my servicing dealer agreed it should have an outside engineer come look to see if they can find a remedy. The Toyota rep at my hearing said I should file with your site to voice my unhappiness with this product. I noticed there is at least one other case I just reviewed with the same issue. I would appreciate any pressure you can place with Toyota. Sincerely.
Dear sir; concerning the Toyota-recall-problems, there were/are many cases even in japan, although the japanese ministry of transport did not announce on it for a long time. If you need such an data on the inportant trouble cases in japan for the newly Toyota in future, I would be able to provide some phenomenon-data on my cases as an user, I think: particularly, unexpectedly high rotation of the engine /alternatively slow rotation suddenly without any stop. It means "unexpectedly engine-brake" as you know. Anyway, all of these unexpected highly/slowly rotation of the high volume-engines were depended upon the etcs, I also think/ belive even at this time as an user for a long time with highly sensitive technics. Thank you for your attension on these problems for a newly toyoya as a japanese. (note) I have been in the uc-berkeley, California, a long time before.
