The contact owns a 2009 Toyota Land Cruiser. Upon starting the vehicle, there was an unusual increase in engine rpms. The engine was louder than normal and the contact immediately shut off the engine. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for further inspection. The contact confirmed that there were previous instances where the vehicle abnormally accelerated without driver intent. No repairs were made to the vehicle.
