Traction Control System problem #1

The contact owns a 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser. The contact stated that the engine and service traction warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the neutral safety switch, manual shaft valve, sealed type t oil, hexagon nut, dex 3 transmission fluid, washer/spring were replaced. The remedy failed to repair the vehicle and the failure recurred. The engine stalled on the highway while driving at an unknown speed. The vehicle was able to be restarted after numerous attempts, but the engine stalled again. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the throttle body assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 243,000.  .

Traction Control System problem #2

2000 Toyota Land Cruiser problems: abs lights on, vss trac and vsc off lights on. Went through to Toyota dealership for diagnostic and discovered codes for the following: c1223 - abs control system malfunction and c1246 - master cylinder pressure sensor. Toyota dealer recommend to replace "skid control ecu" found through internet that is common problem for Toyota trucks particularly sequoias.
