One problem related to windshield has been reported for the 2004 Toyota Matrix. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Due to closing car door while vehicle was stationary, rearview mirror fell off windshield taking a chunk of interior glass with it. Had to replace whole windshield at my own expense.
