One problem related to fuel pump has been reported for the 2005 Toyota Matrix. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Common intermittent starting problem with engine. When engine is warm it takes longer for it to start, approximately 5 seconds. Toyota corp said that they are aware of this issue but have no plans to remedy the situation.
