I am the original owner and the car has been using oil like crazy. I replace all 5 qts of oil at least 1. 5 times between oil changes. I have been told that other than an engine rebuild I am pretty much out of luck. The car now has appox 185k miles. The use of oil has been an issue since around 75k. I have done a little research and saw a service bulletin, but by the time it was issued my car was outside of the mileage range it covered.
