In a stationary position, as soon as I turn my car over my engine will be at a higher rpm than what it should and it wont run as good as it should. Its harder on shifting into the next gear.
The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Matrix. While exiting the freeway, the vehicle accelerated without warning. The contact depressed the brake pedal to the floor, but the brakes failed to stop the vehicle. As a result, the contact crashed into another vehicle. The contact sustained knee injuries that did not require medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence and then to a collision lot. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 42,000.
The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Matrix. The contact stated that while stopped at a traffic stop, the vehicle exhibited an abnormal increase in engine rpms. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer for diagnostic testing where the dealer could not duplicate the problem. The vehicle was not repaired and the failure persisted. The failure mileage was 5,800.
Two problems, 1) accelerator is hard to modulate when starting from a stop, will go at higher speed than wanted. 2) once in a while when coming to a stop, the brakes feel like they pulse, or the vehicle just hit a small patch of ice when there was no ice. A weird feeling. I don't know if the car actually goes a few feet further than I wanted it to or if there is just a pulse that makes you feel that way.
