1 Tank Assembly problem

Failure Date: 10/15/2007

2001 Prius fuel tank was discovered to have a pin leak and had to be replaced. Prior to finding right after 100,000 miles the check engine light started coming on.

2 Tank Assembly problem

Failure Date: 11/04/2006

Repeated incidents of stalling of the gasoline engine. Battery continues to fuel vehicle at low speed. Will restart after shutting the engine off. Continues to do this at any and all speeds. Have had vehicle gas tank bladder replaced at our expense (over 600. 00) computers replaced (multiple) on recalls. Not only a nuisance but very dangerous. Dealer has given no help in finding the cause.

3 Tank Assembly problem

Failure Date: 05/16/2003

The vehicle lost power when the consumer attempted to accelerate. Also the vehicle pulled to the right the tires were replaced several times and the vehicle had numerous alignments. The rack and pinion was replaced and the fuel tank assembly was replace.
