One problem related to tire pressure monitoring system has been reported for the 2006 Toyota Prius. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Low tire pressure sensor goes off every change of the season in the fall when humidity is high and temperature is low. Toyota knows about this as it is one of default selections in the on-line request for service.
