One problem related to interior rearview mirror has been reported for the 2008 Toyota Prius. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
2008 Toyota Prius. Consumer states problem with brakes disengage when braking. In addition, the brakes disengaged when the tires rolled over a tar strip or any other type of bumps. Also, the heating system was not adequate during winter conditions, the automatic dimming rear view mirror did not work because it was blocked by the rear window frame. Consequently, the consumer was blinded by the lights of other vehicles behind him.
