The vehicle slowed initially, then deceleration began with no lock up of tires and no apparent anti-lock system engagement. The accident was due to the vehicles failure to stop as expected. Whenever encountering a bump or pothole in the road the vehicle began to operate uncontrollably with an illumination of the warning light indicator. Also, the failure occurred while making a sharp turn. The vehicle was taken to a dealer regarding the failure. The contact stated that the malfunction could cause a potential crash.
