Tl-the contact owns a 2010 Toyota Prius. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 60 mph, the vehicle stalled. The contact was unable to restart the vehicle. The check hybrid system warning light then became illuminated. The vehicle was towed to Toyota of redlands located at 921 new york st, redlands, CA 92374, (909) 793-0300 to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the fuel gauge was inoperable which caused the vehicle to stall. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was repaired under NHTSA campaign number: 18v684000 (hybrid propulsion system on February 27, 2019 however, the failure occurred. The manufacturer was not contacted or notified. The approximate failure mileage was 200,000. Ah.
