Other people keep using my bluetooth from my Toyota Rav4 2007. I don't even use it anymore. I found out because my android vehicle app keeps activating. Also, I live in a apartment complex, and notice when I look out my window, people walk by and slow down and stop right in front of my car and start messing with their phone. It appears they are hacking into the bluetooth. I've also had much financial theft from my bank account. . Including I paid for my auto insurance months ago, now I go on the az mdv and it's saying that my car is not insured! I'm a domestic violence victim. . Its causing safety issues for me. . I'm really upset. Also, your website is saying it's September 8, 2025. My phone is saying it's September 7th 2025. I don't know what to do!?!? someone is causing me a lot of mental anquish. I know I have recalls on this car, it says I have nun on the Toyota site yet in other places it says I have recalls. I just feel extremely unsafe and angry that Toyota never sends me anything about my car.
Unknown I just strongly feel like I'm not getting the information on purpose. . It has caused me much stress. I'm really upset. I've not once received any communication from you since I bought this vehicle 2nd hand. In 2018. . And to make matters worse, I've had my vehicle plates stolen 3 separate times including my cell phone number ( had to change it) and my driver license number was changed. I'm not having any help from my state dmv. Please help me.
Last year around December the passenger side airbag started separating from the cover it is in. I contacted Toyota told was nit in recall list . Also called dealer they said to contact Toyota. You can pop it back in but afraid airbag may explode open.
The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Rav4. The contact stated that the vehicle was at an independent mechanic for rear brake replacement. After the mechanic replaced both of the rear brakes and front outer tie rod, the mechanic remained outside of the vehicle but leaned in and depressed on the brake pedal when both of the driver and passenger curtain air bags inadvertently deployed. The driver side curtain air bag deployment caused bruising to the mechanic's back. However, no medical attention was received. The driver side seat belt was inoperable after the air bags deployed but was replaced by the independent mechanic. The dealer was made aware of the failure but informed the contact that they inspected the air bags on 10/27/2014. However, no repair was performed at the time. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the dealer had already resolved the air bags recall prior to the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 189,000.
My vehicle has the passenger air bag off and do not detect when the passenger is sit and buckled up the passenger weight it's over 100 pounds, I took my vehicle to a independent repair shop for a code to be read and the only code it shows it's b1550 (occupant classification system ) the vehicle has never been involved into an accident. I took it to the Toyota dealer located at 4413 mchenry avenue in modesto, CA the dealer receptionist said that they can't take of it, because there's no recall in record about this issue, but it is a manufacture defect that affects the safety of vehicle owner.
Vehicle was being operated at low speed (15-20 mph) on residential street approaching a stop sign. Under braking, driver's and passenger's side curtain airbags deployed and driver's seat belt tensioner fired.
Occupant classification system malfunction (ecu). Toyota is refusing to cover the repair since the vehicle is no longer under warranty. Was advised at the dealership (kendall Toyota) that this malfunction will prevent the passenger airbag from deployment in event of an accident. The system malfunction is not specifically a wear n tear item and I firmly believe it should be covered by Toyota. Rav 4 has had multiple recalls but none for this problem.

Air bag issue.
My complaint is in regards to the Toyota air bag recall notice sent out several months ago. I have been in contact with Toyota several times in regards to this and they still have no suitable fix for this problem. I am driving around in a car with no functional airbag, which I can not sell due to the sir bag light being illuminated. They have offered nothing to me in any way to resolve this problem in the mean time I am driving around 800-1500 miles per week in a death trap with no air bag. I have no financial means to rent or borrow a car until this is resolved. I have even offered them to buy my car at a loss so I can find other means of transportation. Each person I talk to at the customer service center offers me different advise and tells me a different story as to when the parts will be available and what I can do to fix it. I even went as far as to drive 2 hours to a toyoya dealer that they arranged for me to fix it only for it not to be done when I picked the vehicle up from service.
Tl- the contact owns a 2007 Toyota rav-4. The contact stated that a recall letter was sent to home address for NHTSA campagin number 14v168000 (airbags). The contact stated that the letter was recieved over two months ago. The dealer was contacted, however the contact still was unable to bring vehicle in for servicing. The mileage was 55,000. Lnc.
Took vehicle in for diagnostics as several lights were on. Was called by service advisor that the d squib circuit/spiral cable is faulty and therefore the air bag system is not operational. This is a huge safety issue as I was unaware of my airbags not functoning. Thank god, we did not get into an accident! the Toyota dealer whom we purchased our 2007 rav 4 from brand new of course wants to repair it for approx. $500. 00. That is insane as this issue should never occur. After reading many postings on the internet, obviously this is a known issue and clearly there should be a recall to fix this.
The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Rav4. The contact stated that the air bag warning lamp illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 87,000 and the current mileage was 88,000.
I rear-ended another car, sustaining damage to both cars. My airbag failed even though I was going about 40 mph--did not deploy. My chest hit the steering wheel even though I was wearing my seat belt. Although, at first I did not realize the extent of my injuries, I received several fractures as revealed by mri and other scans as follows: 1. Sternum fracture 2. Rib fracture 3. Spine compression fractures over time, condition has deteriorated to immobilization. Just recently looked up details of speed at which airbag should engage (after hearing about recalls) and now realize airbag should have gone off at much lower speed.
Hit a car in front of me and wreck the front right corner of the Rav4 and no air bags went off. And my ins company total the Rav4 and don't know what happen to the other car.

Airbag error light came on. Passenger airbag remains off even with a passenger. Passenger seatbelt light flashes even when passenger is fully belted. Issue came on all of a sudden one day even though car has been rarely used in the last year. Issue apparently very common according to other owners online.
Tl- the contact owns a 2007 Toyota Rav4. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the dealer for service under NHTSA campaign id number:11v245000 (air bags), but the contact was told by the dealer that the air bags still would not work unless the spiral cable assembly in the steering wheel was replaced, at the contact's expense. The dealer was contacted and advised that the issue should have been included in the recall. The contact had not experienced a failure. The current mileage was 83,000. Kmj.
Failure # 1 one of the steel rims on my rav 4 developed a crack causing a sudden loss of pressure. I had the rim replaced with a new one. Since then I have had to replace 2 additional rims with the same (broken weld) symptoms, one with a break over 21" long. Toyota has failed to address this issue of unintended consequences. Failure # 2 the air bag sensing light came on in my rav 4 so I had it checked out at my local dealer. I was told not to worry about it. I'm an emt and I have a tendency to worry about "life safety" issues. I took it to another dealer and was told that there might be unintended consequences and that I should have it fixed. It turned out the "spiral cable" in the steering column was faulty and needed to be replaced. It's important to know that an air bag works when it should and doesn't work when it should not. I wasn't aware that things as critical as these have a shelf life.
A r e call now on the clock spring stop acting stupid's.

My wife was driving a 2007 rva 4 limited when the car ahead of her suddenly stopped. Speed was 25 to 30 mph in stop and go traffic. She braked and collided with the car ahead of her. My wife was able to catch herself and was sitting up right when the air bags deployed. There was a delay in the airbags by several seconds after the front collision. Soon after the airbags deployed, thick black smoke came up through the steering column. My wife evacuated the car and within five minutes the car was totally engulfed in flames. I am concerned on the delay in airbag deployment and the fire and speed at which it spread. We loved our rav but have a concern about buying any Toyota product.
