36 Automatic Emergency Braking problem of the 2018 Toyota RAV4

Failure Date: 08/25/2021

Vehicle sustained total loss due to unexplained deployment of side airbags when collision was limited to the front. Toyota was asked to check and their response did not address my concerns about the unnecessary deployment. I had expressed concern about the pre-collision warning/emergency braking systems in e-mails with my Toyota dealership well in advance of the accident. It appeared to not be triggered although they said it was working. The files/photos are on another device. I can supply upon request.

37 Automatic Emergency Braking problem of the 2018 Toyota RAV4

Traffic stopped on the highway and my car didn't. The automatic braking system started but it didn't stop. Almost every airbag deployed except the passenger, it was off. My dash read that abs failed contact dealer.

38 Automatic Emergency Braking problem of the 2020 Toyota RAV4

Failure Date: 11/30/2020

A few months after I purchased my 2020 Rav4 xle hybrid, I noticed that my brakes squeaks whenever I make a quick stop, or after I release the brakes after stopping or when I am backing up. It doesn't matter on the kind of road that I am on. I brought my car to the dealership and they said that it is normal for a hybrid to squeaks due to the break actuator. I know people with Toyota hybrids and they do not have this problem. I am concerned because this could be a dangerous issue. Please advise. Thank you.
