1 Front Suspension Hub problem

The contact owns a 2008 Toyota Scion Tc. While driving approximately 25 mph, the brakes became hesitant when applied and the contact stated that the abs, vsc, air bag warning and brake warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the contact was advised that the brake sensor would need to be replaced. In addition, the technician advised that the vehicle would not be safe to drive until the repairs were performed. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the vehicle began to exhibit an unusual burning odor. The manufacturer was contacted and advised that the vehicle was unsafe to operate. They also advise that the failure could have been caused by the wheel hub assembly because there was a service alert issued for the failure advising that the wheel could potentially fracture from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where the technician was waiting for the parts to arrive to repair the vehicle. The dealer stated that the parts were on a national back order.
