The car is sucking up the oil I get a oil change and the next day I have to put a quart of oil everyday is checking the oil I have to put at least 3 quarts of oil in it it does not hold the oil and you don't see where the oil is dripping out at. I love my car but I am having so many problems with this oil.
Scion vehicle was hit in an accident by another car on 1/15/2015. Vehicle that hit scion failed to stop for a red signal and collided into scion hitting first the right front corner of passanger side, then hit again head on. Air bags did not deploy. Went to walmart for oil change and they detected oil is off sticker. Have to trade in my car to get a new one.
Driving on major highway and noise started and immediate shutdown of engine which forced me to drift to side of road-- could have been seriously injured as all other cars going well over 65 mph. The contact owns a 2008 Toyota Scion Xb. The contact stated that the oil warning lamp illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer who stated that there was a defect in the motor. As a result, the engine would have to be rebuilt. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 57,000 and the current mileage was 60,000.
