Leaking water pump. The pump starting leaking around 31,000 miles. It was a minor weap from the drain hole at the bottom of the pump at that time. At 40071 miles the pump needed to be replaced. Warranty on the xd had lapsed by four months. Toyota would not reimburse for repair.
