Odometer fraud. The contact purchased a 2014 Toyota Sienna. The contact discovered a mileage discrepancy after the purchase. The vehicle was a private sale. At the time of the purchase, the mileage was 59,500. It was later discovered upon checking the paperwork that the mileage was 176,047.

The contact stated that upon taking the vehicle to a dealer for an oil change, it was discovered through the carfax report that there was a mileage discrepancy. The vehicle was a private sale through facebook market place. At the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was 146,000, but upon retrieving the carfax report, the contact discovered that the mileage was 187,391 on the state inspection report dated June 18, 2025. The issue had not been reported to another agency.
