Two problems related to starter have been reported for the 1996 Toyota T100. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Clutch pedal bracket can crack, then break, causing failure of clutch pedal. Steering bracket bent, dealer replaced bracket and installed new bolt. Vehicle would not start at times due to a faulty starter assembly.
Starter malfunctioned, causing a fire. Also the clutch pedal bracket broke in three pieces which prevented the vehicle from going into gear. This could have caused a crash. Please provide further information.
