Three problems related to wheel bolts have been reported for the 1996 Toyota Tacoma. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer was traveling about 25mph on highwayand and right rear passenger's wheel came off, and wheel went into the wood. She took her vehicle to the dealership.
Front tires will not come off after lugs: nuts have been removed.
Left front wheel stud broke while changing tire.
