One problem related to axle assembly has been reported for the 1998 Toyota Tacoma. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Chasis/leaf spring/rear axle is defective, the vehicle leans over a one inch degree to the drivers side, no one has to be in the vehicle, the dealer replaced the spring and fixed up the bed level, vehicle still leans over one half inch without anyone in. Dealer contacted six times or more and cannot duplicate the problem.
