The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the contact was informed that the lock mechanism would need to be replaced. The failure and current mileage was 103,000.
2005 Tacoma passenger door would not latch closed, when door was closed. Had to hold door closed until truck was driven home. There were two people in truck, one to drive the other to hold door shut. Next business day took truck to dealer for repairs. No repair for faulty part, part was put on order, a temp fix was done so door would remain closed. Was advised not to use door until new part was installed.
