Tl- the contact owns a 2005 Toyota Tacoma. The contact stated that the leaf spring fractured with no warning and that there was a punctured hole which damaged the fuel tank. The contact tried for several months before the failure, to schedule a repair and the dealer indicated that they did not have a remedy to fix the vehicle for several months and then the failure occured with no warning. The contact was included in NHTSA campaign id numbers: 14v604000 (suspension), 12v092000 (air bags), 09v388000 (vehicle speed control) and was unable to determine for months when the parts would become available to schedule the recall repairs.
